UP Budget Draws Criticism for Neglecting Youth, Farmers, and Middle Class: Satish Chaturvedi Voices Concerns
UP Budget Critique: Satish Chaturvedi Slams Government for Neglecting Youth, Farmers, and Middle Class

Satish Kumar Chaturvedi, the National President of Lok Jan Samaj Party Bharat, launched a scathing critique against the Uttar Pradesh government's recent budget. Expressing his dissatisfaction, he asserted that the budget, unveiled by the BJP government, falls short in addressing the needs of the youth, farmers, and the socio-economically disadvantaged sections of society. Chaturvedi accused the government of manipulating unemployment figures, labeling the state's substantial budget as a fabrication of falsehoods.

Chaturvedi underscored that the budget, ostensibly designed to foster progress for the youth, farmers, and the underprivileged, is, in reality, a deceptive tool. He criticized the allocation of funds benefiting industrialists while suggesting that promises made to women and students are misleading. The leader questioned the efficacy of the BJP's double-engine government, highlighting the government's failure to accomplish ten pivotal tasks despite claiming to have procured Rs 100 lakh crores through various investment initiatives over the past seven years.

The National President of Lok Jan Samaj Party Bharat called for transparency from the government regarding fund allocation and utilization. He raised doubts about whether the announced funds effectively reach the state government or remain empty promises. Chaturvedi also expressed concern about the absence of representation for the middle class in the budget and questioned the credibility of the government's healthcare statistics.

Kiran Sinha, the National President of the Women's Front, conveyed her disappointment with the budget, asserting that it has left the entire state population disheartened. Chaturvedi continued his scrutiny of the budget, branding the BJP's double-engine government as misleading and lacking direction, catering to only 10% of the population.

Janki Chaturvedi, the National Treasurer of Lok Jan Samaj Party Bharat, echoed these sentiments, contending that the government exhibits bias and primarily serves the interests of a select few. She spotlighted the lack of consideration for the middle class in the budget, criticizing the government for neglecting to address challenges such as inflation and unemployment. Janki accused the government of prioritizing industrialists over the common people.

Satish Kumar Chaturvedi concluded by challenging the government's claim of a 2.4% unemployment rate, highlighting the actual increase in unemployment. He criticized the escalating costs of education, burdening unemployed youths with expensive degrees. Chaturvedi also questioned the government's decision to reduce weights for fertilizer bags, negatively impacting farmers striving for increased income.

With over 55 lakh farmers excluded from the Kisan Samman Nidhi and substantial price hikes in diesel, petrol, and pesticides, the agricultural community faces additional challenges. Chaturvedi accused the BJP government of contributing to the deterioration of education and healthcare services through flawed policies, exacerbating issues like inflation and unemployment. He labeled the budget as a deceptive instrument, lacking the potential for genuine progress and serving as a means to deceive the people once again.
